DESCRIPTION:
Carbon steel cubicle with modular bolted structure, with sill base, removable covers: sides, top and bottom. Structure and closures in RAL 7032 grey. They have a modular design for easy access, where the components are manufactured and assembled in the factory, which simplifies the installation process. This guarantees precision and controlled quality, since they are delivered pre-assembled in parts that fit together perfectly, reducing the need for complex on-site assembly.
CONSTRUCTION FEATURES :
An IP54 transformer cubicle is built to provide effective protection against moderate dust and splashing water, thus ensuring the safe and reliable operation of the transformer. The IP54 rating means the following:
-The first digit (5) indicates the level of protection against the ingress of solids. The number 5 means that the cubicle offers limited dust protection and the ingress of dust should not impair the operation of the equipment.
-The second digit (4) indicates the level of protection against the ingress of liquids. The number 4 means that the cubicle offers protection against splashing water from all directions, ensuring that the interior is protected against the ingress of water in damaging quantities.Whenever there is a need to protect a transformer against moderate dust and splashing water, but not against direct water jets or prolonged immersion, an IP54 cubicle is an appropriate choice. It is important to consider the specific environmental conditions of each application when deciding on the type of protection required for a transformer.
