Carbon steel cubicle with modular bolted structure, with sill base, removable covers: sides, top and bottom. Structure and closures in RAL 7032 grey. They have a modular design for easy access, where the components are manufactured and assembled in the factory, which simplifies the installation process. This guarantees precision and controlled quality, since they are delivered pre-assembled in parts that fit together perfectly, reducing the need for complex on-site assembly.
CONSTRUCTION FEATURES :
An IP43W transformer cubicle is a structure designed to house an electrical transformer, providing protection against dust and water at specific levels according to IP (Ingress Protection) ratings. The IP43W rating means the following:
- The first digit (4) indicates the level of protection against the ingress of solids. The number 4 indicates that the cubicle offers protection against solid objects larger than 1 mm in diameter, but is not completely dustproof.-The second digit (3) indicates the level of protection against the ingress of liquids. The number 3 indicates that the cubicle offers protection against splashed water at an angle of up to 60 degrees to the vertical.- The letter "W" is an additional specification indicating resistance to adverse weather conditions, such as wind or rain.Therefore, an IP43W cubicle to house a transformer is built to protect the transformer against the ingress of dust and against splashing water in moderately adverse conditions.
